BACKGROUND:
here @ the Seven Deadly Sins wikia
PERSONALITY:
Being the sin of Sloth, King outwardly displays a lazy demeanor, often floating on a pillow either on his stomach or back - in fact when he first appears and stabs Ban, he's laying sideways on his spear - but he's a deeply caring and emotional person. During Helbram's flashbacks, it's revealed that King doesn't trust humans as far as he can throw them, and his distrust is proven right according to Helbram, who watched his friends be killed by humans for their wings. King's distrust of Meliodas in recent chapters seems to stem from this, since he states he doesn't like not knowing which side Meliodas is really on, once his status as being from the demon realm is revealed.
King's time with Diane in the past is seen as a betrayal by his people, who appointed him Fairy King in order to protect the Fairy King's Forest. Instead, his subsequent memory loss leaves his sister Elaine in charge of protecting the Fountain of Youth, and leads to her demise at the hands of a demon. Elaine is the one person that King respects, enough to put aside his squabbling with Ban when he confuses him for her killer, taking up his spear against Guila when he sees Elizabeth and Hawk pull it from where he stabbed it in the ground. Being told to run away and let them handle it caused him to do the exact opposite and chose to fight.
He seems to take the defensive approach first, choosing to gauge how powerful his enemy is before attacking, this coming in the form of evading their attacks for as long as he can manage. It shows his wary nature, as previously stated with his distrust of humans and things that he doesn't know. While King takes to defence first, his attacks are quite powerful, stemming from his position as Fairy King and his connection with the forest. When the Forest was being attacked while he, Ban and Jericho were there, King took up arms despite his people claiming Ban to be their king since he was the one that had been helping it to rejuvenate from the demon's attack. Defending them and the forest itself from the two Commandments that attacked, he claimed to be a selfish king, willing to put his life on the line even when they refused him. This led to the other faeries fighting by his side and being reinstated as Fairy King.
While King can be selfish, he often puts aside his own needs for the sake of others. Knowing that Diane - who he finds himself in love with well before they're part of the Seven Deadly Sins - is in love with Meliodas, he watches her pursue him without a protest. When Elaine asks him to protect Ban, he puts aside his hate and does as asked, and when it appears that Elizabeth is going to ask him to fight alongside them before she tries to pull his spear out of the ground, he naturally assumes so. Whether this is with women only is up for debate, but King does his best to protect those he calls comrades, even refusing to attack Helbram when his best friend is brought back from the dead a second time, when he's required to kill him a third. King just wishes to protect everybody and everything that he cares for, which is where he gets his incredible willpower from.
Though he's a Sin, King is also a softie and empathetic. His relationship with Ban, while a little strained, is also weird in the fact that they act as foils for each other, and King is often found cleaning up Ban's messes, such as the time he (Ban) stole all the plushies in a village. King somehow managed to match every toy in the kingdom to their respective owners while Ban was asleep, because of the impressions and memories left on them. In fact, fighting for others is when King is at his most powerful, as noted in his introductory arc by Elaine as she watches him fight Guila in the City of the Dead. This is also what leads him to being able to (finally) kill Helbram, after some egging on by Ban; he couldn't stand to watch him suffer anymore.
ABILITIES:
SPEED AND FLIGHT
Although he doesn't possess wings like other faeries, King is still able to keep up with the other Sins through this unique levitation ability. This technique also allows him to levitate and direct other objects such as Chastiefol, various weapons and his pillow. It's unknown why King and Elaine don't have wings, likely a touchy subject.
FORM CHANGE:
King has a human form, though he doesn't keep it up for very long since it taxes him of his strength and is hard to maintain due to needing to concentrate. Mind, this doesn't explain how he was able to keep it up to keep appearances as a Holy Knight ten years ago, seeming to cement his "sloth" approach to things.
STRENGTH, POWER AND DURABILITY:
King is one of the stronger members of the Deadly Sins, with a power level of 4190, and when wielding Chastiefol in its true form is somewhere between 10000 and 11000 in terms of power level, yet despite this King is physically weak. It's his durability and willpower that make up for this, shown in a few of his fights and when protecting Diane from Helbram.
DISASTER:
Disaster is well named, as it gives King complete control over Life and Death, an ability granted to him with the status as Fairy King. This allows King to diminish or allow things to blossom, as suggested by its name. Smaller wounds might develop into something more severe, poison that's mild enough to allow someone to live might become lethal, and vice versa. It gives him complete authority over plants and wildlife, fitting as his title. As this ability is such in its nature, I will be making a permissions post for players who wish to allow this kind of exercise of power over their character's well being.
CHASTIEFOL:
The Spirit Spear, King's Sacred Treasure, is a holy weapon crafted from the sacred tree found only in the Fairy Realm. It has several different forms, mostly appearing as a pillow when not in battle, and its abilities can be found here.
INVENTORY:
+1 sacred treasure; Chastiefol, the Spirit Spear
+1 helmet (contains Helbram's soul)
+1 set of clothes

In terms of power levels, the idea in Seven Deadly Sins acts just like the ones in Dragonball Z. When Merlin gives Hawk the ability to perceive power levels, she intends for it to be used as a way of gauging the levels of their enemies, the Ten Commandments of the demon race. For example, Meliodas is more powerful than King at 32,000 after their training with the druids even with King's added power level of 11k while wielding Chastiefol, but King is still more powerful than a Holy Knight or regular human. It just means that in terms of strength, he's stronger than the average fighter (even though he sucks without his weapons).
Chastiefol, the spirit spear and King's holy weapon, has nine total abilities, but is mostly found in pillow form when not in battle, used as King's mode of transportation as well as his sleeping spot. Its true form is a spear that's almost as long as King is tall, and he uses his levitation abilities in order to be able to move it around. One of the attacks he uses in its weapon form is Bumblebee, used when trying to provoke Ban's memory of him. It's just as it sounds, using it to rapidly attack an opponent and swarm them like an angry hive.
Guardian is the second form, and it takes the persona of a large bear, which King then uses to immobilize or fight his enemies. This isn't used very often and was introduced, like Bumblebee, in egging on Ban into fighting him. As Chastiefol's bear form is compromised of moss, it's very resistant to fire but not so much to the ice or cold.
Fossilization is the third form. King used this ability to petrify Ban in his introductory arc, only it was easily undone by Elaine's spirit when she kisses him. It's a near permanent state of fossilization as a result, though reversal affects are unknown aside from the one mentioned previously.
Sunflower is the fourth form. Using Chastiefol, King can summon a large flower that blooms over its enemies, bright as a sunflower and in the same shape as one. The resulting attack is capable of causing great disaster, which works considering one of his ability's names.
Increase is the fifth form, taking on the form of kunai style knives which he can control through hand movements and direction with his levitation skill. He can focus these to strike at a single opponent or at multiple, depending, and is a subsequent form counting as the sixth form of Chastiefol.
Luminosity is the seventh form, creating a sphere of light that can illuminate the darkness surrounding King and those with him. This is used when exploring the cavern that Hendrickson was keeping the body of the demon that attacked the Fairy King's Forest in, and again to light up the cavern where he trains with Meliodas in the land of the druids.
Pollen Garden is the eighth form, a barrier which withstands even the most brutal of attacks. King uses this to protect Diane (and by default Howzer) while fighting Helbram in the final battle against the enhanced Holy Knights. It doesn't, however, heal injuries.
True Spirit Spear Chastiefol is the ninth form, and takes a great deal of King's concentration and power, threatening to make him unconscious but almost doubles his strength/power level and his true destructive capabilities are shown during the fight with the Albion demon in the Forest, all but completely destroying it. This attack isn't used much, however, because of its aforementioned energy sucking.
